Construction

Tube construction: Tough 0.9mm, 1000 denier custom made PVC, inflate to 3psi.

Anti-UV grade tested to 4-5 out of 5. International Standards ISO 4892-3:2006

Air deck floor made from reinforced drop stich to provide a high- tensile rigid core. Inflate to 10psi. Custom made protective anti-skid with additional anti-UV additive, high-pressure laminated heat pressed to top layer for the best durability and rigidity. Second-layer side rail tape making 1.8mm walls and additional air tightness.

Easy re-tubing: Unlike conventional ribs or inflatable boats Takacats can be re-tubed simply and cost effectively due to our revolutionary Tube Transom® and our fully removable high-pressure air deck floor system. The tubes are not glued to a hull or transom so there is no hassle or costly process to have your aged of damaged tubes replaced. You can simply order a set of new tubes direct from www.takacat.com.au.

Revolutionary Tube-Transom Design®
Takacats innovative new fully removable open Tube-Transom design® enables the inflatable to be deflated, rolled up smaller, easier and lighter than other traditional inflatable boats. These are big advantages when it comes to transporting or storing your Takacat.
The Takacats are perfect for the caravan, RV motorhome, or the tender market. Having the removable transom means they are less bulky and weigh approx. 7kg lighter when packed away.

This fully open transom design has no ability to hold water on board, a great advantage when being towed or being used in various conditions.
Davit Mounting
We are often asked if Takacats can be used as a tender with a davit lifting system. The answer is absolutely. In fact Takacats are the perfect onboard tender due to their open transom design which means they don't hold any water onboard so stay nice and light as any rain drains right off.

Bonus Inflatable SUP Fin
The Takacat LX Series now come with a new feature - the option to turn your removeable floor of your Takacat into a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP).
